My first loves were and are the creatures of our Earth – the two legged, the four legged, the finned, furred, and winged. My childhood was spent living in many countries – I have always felt myself to be a citizen of the world. My schooling began in traditional ways – a doctorate in physiology, later followed by a medical degree from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I am a physician of Internal Medicine.
From these vantage points, I became aware that our Earth and her children need deeper healing, more than can be accomplished in the physical and literal world. So, I embarked on a personal journey to awaken more fully to the healing power of the Divine. I studied with Dr. Alberto Villoldo (The Four Winds Society) and accessed the wisdom of a lineage of Inka shamans. Thus, I reawakened to my soul’s purpose – to be a steward of the Earth, to heal, and to join others in creating our new world.
